C26 – How To Lead When You’re Not In Charge

2 hrs Classroom session, (Wednesday May 23rd, 1330 hrs)

We’ve all said it or thought it! “When I get to be in charge things are going to be different” … “What a goober, he has no clue what he’s doing” …or what about… “How did all these people get to be in charge”.

How to lead when you’re not in charge can be a difficult question to answer if you only see leadership opportunities available when you actually are in charge. Unfortunately, you’ll probably miss your opportunity to lead a team, important project, or actually be in charge if your waiting around for the official title. When you lack the authority, there is still great opportunity to influence and lead well in whatever role you’re in.
In this presentation we will discuss this misconception and offer ways to leverage your influence when you lack authority.
