C34 – Mission success starts with mindset

4 hrs Classroom session, (thursday May 24th, 1330 hrs)

The mission of the fire service is based around successfully mitigating the citizens emergency. While many feel that “the fire went out and everyone went home” is an acceptable attitude, it is up to us to raise the bar.

“Water boils from the bottom up” (Aaron Fields). Most of our organizations are collectively influenced from members throughout the ranks. We set the standard and develop the mindset to success. This mindset should be embedded into personal (and perpetual) preparation, apparatus and equipment design, strategic and tactical planning and lastly, the execution of the basics. The public’s trust can not be broken.
