Class Details

Returning to MAFFC for 2019, this class brings to light the hazards that are associated with working in a hoarding condition on the modern fireground. Size up indicators, whether subtle or obvious, will be brought to light to readily identify a hoarding environment before it is entered. Also discussed are tactics that can be used to effectively operate in a heavily cluttered structure. Real world case studies are used to reinforce the lessons provided, detailing several successful operations including prolonged rescues from these daunting environments.
