H11 – Big engine, small crew: being street smart with minimum staffing

8 hrs hands-on session, (Saturday may 26th, 0800hrs) Live fire, turnouts and scba required

The Engine Co. is widely considered the backbone of the fire service. This unit’s initial actions can make or break the results of a working incident. While performing multiple tasks, this company is often understaffed, which can lead to catastrophic results if not prepared. Some units run with two (2) or even one (1) person, but those that made the decision to staff them that way still expect excellence. How do you make it work? This course will give participants “options” for success when faced with minimal personnel.
